Are you being tricked?

October 13, 2011

The sweet aroma of glamorous flowers filled his mind with bliss while he had luncheon sitting by his ten year old son under the serene shadow of banyan tree in the huge colorful garden where he worked as a gardener for Mr. Rich.
Life was so beautiful!

But Mr. Rich was seemingly disturbed after coming to know that his neighbor Mr. Richer has added a custom made Bentley to his prized possession of fleet of cars and was applauded by the neighboring society in the last night's party.
He was not after all richer than Mr. Richer, life was unfair!

But Mr. Richer was not content either and he was furious when he read in the magazine about his neighbor Mr. Richest recently buying helicopter and having built a helipad on his three storey bungalow. Helicopter? It could take Mr. Richest anywhere in the country within hours. Bentley sucks! Life sucks!

But Mr. Richest was not happy either and he had spent his entire life gathering wealth without being apprehensive to good or bad ways of doing so. His father would have been so happy to see him become such a man who could fly in his own copter. By the fireplace holding a glass filled with vintage wine he remembered his father would be happy just the same. His poor father worked hard as a gardener so he could provide him with good food and clean clothes. In the afternoon he would seat under the banyan tree by his side and have luncheon with him. He was so content with life without having a bank account. After all, money cannot bring contentment in life. But life is a witch! It tricks you in believing so and gardener’s son was tricked through life.
