Love will be by your side!

Once upon a time, long-long ago, in a distant rain forest, there lived a young ladybird. She was everybody's favorite for her cheerful singing and dancing. The little thing was admired by everyone in the forest, admiration that she admired the most, of being everybody’s favorite.

On one sunny day, there came her dream, a prince charming bird with wings bright and landed on the tree with a smooth flight. Enchanted by her beauty, he sang beautifully for her, danced, flew high in the sky and performed all that he could to charm her.

She instantly fell in love. He showered her with his love in countless ways. The days flew as the love grew stronger. He had interesting stories to tell her, beautiful songs to sing, charming dance to perform and nice aerial swings to impress.

But she was not the only one enchanted. Monkeys, butterflies, all the animals and birds liked him. How can someone else be everybody’s favorite bird? She felt bad. Jealous. Bitter. And finally jealousy overpowered love.

She played a trick; convincing her heart that she can have any bird to love her but the affection of the forest cannot be shared. It’s her identity.

One day a bird catcher set a trap on a guava fruit. She knew and demanded the fruit to him. He knew it too, but the love that is, he took a swift flight only to get trapped.

That night she felt all alone. No one sang for her, told her the stories of far away places. And for the first time she realized the existence of love.

Days became longer and ruthless. Weeks flew and months passed by. She could not sing, could not dance and she was no more favorite of the forest.

But one day it happened. His love for her came in physical existence. She laid two beautiful eggs. She cried, cried every time she looked at her eggs.

And one day it happened too. Her love returned. It came to her what was hers.

"Now I don’t have beautiful feathers that you liked, I don’t have a voice to sing songs for you. I can’t fly high in the sky and can’t dance with my twisted legs. But I have come back to my life. You. I have managed to escape before I am sold forever. I will never be anybody’s favorite. Will you love me the same?"

She could not answer. His eyes didn't see it but heart can see what eyes can’t. He felt bad. Jealousy had overpowered the love but it didn’t last. Love prevailed.

"I forgive you", he said," What has returned to you was always yours".

This was too much to handle for her delicate heart. Her heart sank. She knew every time she would look at him, she would suffer. She would suffer from her own doings, betrayal to his love.

Next morning he woke up listening the sweet chirping, he saw two little birds under his wings. He screamed in ecstasy looking at their tender wings and called for ladybird.

But she was nowhere to be seen.

He knew she has gone away. Tears rolled from his eyes.

But love existed...it was always there and now it has taken a new form, a new form of two little lives.

Everyone knows what love is. But in the mist of emotions, for few, it is hard to realize the true love, even when it’s by their side. By the time one realizes it...it is often late!

I want to help you fly, but not away from me.
I want what's best for you, But fear what that might be.
I stay in hopes that you will see, Someday you cannot hope to be
Both fully loved and fully free, for love comes mutually.
